Water Lilies

The Terra dips shallow to contain water

an ecosystem that I used to see around

pink and white lilies bloom as I drive by

damselfly fly around as to dip its tail in

Naiads and tadpoles play inside the pool

aquarium in the open that reflects the sky

green spurts inside in along the inhabitants

floating foliage get visited by frogs and egrets

Nympheas gets into Monet impressionism

Lilly pads over tints of blue and green turquoise

water landscapes vanished, water lilies lost awhile

lost are the culture of preserving our system

awful the dirt we put in to all the life lines, still

wondrous as the ecosystem get back in action.
