The Red Pierrot

Striking patterns that caught my eyes

seen before as in the Picasso painting

the pale Pierrot and the red harlequin

a pantomime character to remember

polka dots black in white and red screen

perching on my kalanchoe with pink florets

sky high city spaces, the garden in vertical

tiny pots seated side by side in the window

to seek the seeking as the poet once said

it mated again way up the paved ground

sight of the red and iridescent black charm

back on the huge stage to play its little part

the blue marbled sphere cut trough the cycle

dramatic screen play well written in naturalis

the clowns once again in performing costume

along with the Pierrot on stage, the harlequin.
