The celeno flies

Crayons are the first pack to paint with

picked hues of cerulean in the pack

uneven daubed stokes of blue deep

a tinge of grey in this blue faded my colors.

Palette, now in my hand bolder strokes

the sun lit up the blue in the cerulean sky

widen my view, impastoed the hues on canvas

the blue cerulean flew across the greens.

Cobalt stannate blue the pigment often seen

last summer, so harsh those grass burn

where did the caterpillar go with the ant

this art I can not create on my canvas.

Monet painted the La Gare Saint-Lazare

or is it the subtle hues in that Berthe

Along the azure sky, it daubed blue hues

my palette with blues, cobalt, and manganese.

Pantone color of the millennium I pick

along with the orange in the eyespot

grey butterfly in the lot, the celeno flies

stippled the blue and planted her host.
