My pursuit for the peculiar in a lazy morning

viscous goblets of water slip to the edge lobes

erect stems with the alternate heart-shaped leaves

firmly grown okra to be plucked cling with coccids

sepals fused into a tube in yellow attract pollinators

found the small thing flying around with brown stria

ape-fly as they call it in search of the mealy bugs

carnivore, its larva camouflage as it grows white

waxy filaments which adhere to their seta capsule

a foot below there stuck the meditating monkey

unfamiliar, it appeared metamorphosis is magical

lever changing path of life that grew wild and harsh

path taken for the next adaptable to the nature

fine lines throw the light to the changing needs.
